"To anoint is to grease with perfumed oil, milk, water, melted butter or other substances, a process employed ritually by many religions and races. It also means to be in the presence of God. People and things are anointed to symbolize the introduction of a sacramental or divine influence, a holy emanation, spirit or power. It can also be seen as a spiritual mode of ridding persons and things of dangerous influences and diseases, especially of the demons (Persian drug, Greek κηρες, Armenian dev) which are believed to be or cause those diseases."

I have this quoted because yesterday during my Confirmation class, "Anointing In the Oils" was the discussion. Our teacher had brought it to class and showed us the oil. She had another woman there to anoint us with the oils. It was okay, I didn't really mind. Now let me describe to you my class. In my class, there are few that actually want to be there, and are very interested in the discussion. One boy in particular whats to become a priest. This boy knows almost everything about our Catholic religion, and if you ask him a question, he'll know the answer. When he doesn't know, he'll be sure to find out and get back to you. A good bunch of people are there because their parents are forcing them to participate. I fall in both categories. Sometimes I have questions that I want answered and other times I just want to be home and not come at all, so I think that qualifies me as both categories. Now that you have an idea about the people in my class, let me go back to my story. My teacher and the lady were going around the room anointing... The lady anointing us was feeling light headed and claimed that she felt god. I had to help her stand in two occasions. Her son the priest wanna-be fell to the floor as she was anointing him. I went to help him and then his mom told me not to that he has the presence of God with him... I was just like "WTF, mate.. He just hit his head." Well, I was thinking it... Later he woke up and I didn't believe it at all. About 30 minutes into class two students came in late. They were brothers and also trouble makers... Our teacher asked them to kneel so that they could get anointed, and then the lady asks her son to put his hand on one of them and pray for him while they were being anointed. So Priest boy wanna-be puts his hand on the younger of the two and starts praying... two minutes later he starts going crazy and pushing the guy... and praying/yelling and later fell again... He was literally pushing the guy he was praying for as if he was trying to make him fall. After he woke up again he said that he felt that the boy had a stong connection with god... the boy was freaked out and so was I... hah, I was thinking to myself... "he needs to get tested for epiplepsy..." He was literally shaking like he had it when this was happening....I'll let them believe what they want to believe, but I seriously felt like it was fake and a total act.... Why was it this lady and her son the only ones falling and "feeling god"? Lame, if anything the woman is too religious and taught her son to be extreamly religious too. freaky too.---------------------------So the best way to get a guy interested in you is complementing them...
Saying something like, "Oh you have a nice smile" or "Your eyes shine"... excedera... Guys go wild with complements like that... It boosts their ego, and they like it (not all guys are like this... the dorky cute ones... I think). They even start liking the girl just because she has complemented them (at least I think so).
Someone I know always does this, sometimes not on purpose, and she always ends up with a guy interested. Once during her high school years she had a class with a guy. He was hispanic and had blue eyes. She had never seen a hispanic male with blue eyes before and was kind of in shock and told him he had beautiful eyes. With that complement, she had a guy after her. He probably thought she liked him when in reality she only thought it was unusal for a hispanic (I would say Mexican but I can't since I'm not sure) to have blue eyes. He probably persued her for a good four months before. Poor guy. hah. But then again that was just high school.
Recently she told one of her friends "you have a really cute smile." She was talking to me about it and said her friend has changed the way he acts around her and she thinks he likes her. I asked her why she told him that and she said that sometimes guys are shy and don't know that they're cute and that they need to hear it from someone... It's a little ego boost.
I don't know, I would only complement a guy if I was actually interested... I wouldn't want to give him the wrong impression. Anyhoo, I don't even have enough courage to do that... lol... I am on speaking terms with the guy I'm interested in, but I'm soooo shy... errrr! I need to complement his dorky smile. :P
So… I am an official AA degree graduate. Just last year I graduated from high school. Anyhoo, this accomplishment was more for my mom and my grandparents. Seriously yo, they were the ones giving me a hard time making me feel guilty about not walking (Catholic Guilt Trip)... So to make it all better, I walked and made my mom and grandparents happy. But in the end, I was glad that I did, I got some dinero out of it... That means money in the credit union (since technically I'm not at a bank, you're suppose to laugh). Cha-Ching, I got bills to pay...
Anyhoo, I'm happy, and I'm glad I walked...
Class of 2009
Bella is out.
No Controles - Flans
This song use to be on the radio all the time growing up, and it just dawned on my that I should google the lyrics to see who original artist was... Anyhoo, here they are. It's an 80's Latin Pop song. I always liked it.
chyeah, and Bella is out.
I am not pacient at all.
I hate having to wait...
Waiting gets me mad by the minute... One way to keep me happy is to never be late.
I'm over-reacting when I say this, I don't get super mad... I just get fustrated... It's hard to explain... My mom thinks I have an anger issue, but really it's because she's never on time to pick me up. I'm always waiting for her. ALWAYS. I can never get a hold of her, and it's pathetic.
Right now I'm at school... It's past 8pm and my mom is still not here... I've called at least 5 times, and she hasn't picked up once... Aye...
Everyone should strive to be on time.
Seriously yo, all my life I have been waiting...
Waiting to be picked up from school, waiting to be picked up from colorguard practice, waiting to be picked up from choir practice, waiting to be picked up from campus club... I mean common! It's no wonder why I hate waiting! I've been doing it all my life. I was always the last kid picked up...
Shoot, in intermidiate school and high school I started walking/riding my bike without my parents asking me to, I did it because I'd rather get home then have to wait to get home... damn.
Waiting sucks... so again, strive to be on time.
So I recently bought a new laptop computer.
You know how it is with new computers... When you get a new computer you're usually downloading all the essentials... AIM, Anti-Virus Protection, and other crap. It's pretty much the things you use on a regular basis. Since I'm a student, I thought that Microsoft Office 2007 would be a good investment in the long run since I was probably going to use it a lot (and I have been).Anyhoo, I bought Microsoft Office Student Edition for $149.95 about a month ago.A couple of days ago, I stumbled across the Microsoft website and saw this offer...
That really sucks.
Anyhoo, if you don't have Microsoft Office 2007, right now is a good time to get it.

So... did I ever write a blog about finally getting my driver's license? No I didn't, well I guess I'll do that now...
I got my driver's license!!! WOO, I'm no longer an illegal driver. I have the paper and soon the plastic to show that I'm an official driver of cars. If you didn't already know, I have been driving illegally for almost one year now (probably around 1.2 years). When I was 17 in my senior year of high school, my mom was indoors and I was inside our car in an empty parking lot. I was thinking to myself... "I'm seventeen, and I'm still not driving..." So I scooted over to the driver's side and turn the key in the ignition and changed the gear from park to drive and drove around in the parking lot. I was a natural... (seriously yo, I was smooth).
That's basically how I started driving, but recently on April 20ish, I got my driving permit, and on May 1st I got my drivers license.
WOOO!
So I'm official...
I've been driving 1.2 years unofficial, and I have never been stopped or in an accident (it would have been hell if any of that happened...)
I did have almost accidents which I'm not very proud of, but it did make me a better driver... I'm probably the best driver I know (hah).
Anyways, that's all... I'm official now... No one report me, too late for that anyways.
